Pianists Michael Hersch, Lura Johnson, Ken Osowski and Daniel Spiegel perform pieces by Derek Bermel, Martin Bresnick, Chen Yi, Ryan Anthony Francis, Gabriela Frank and Michael Hersch, who will premiere a suite drawn from his new evening-length work, The Vanishing Pavilions.

Evolution kicks off its fourth season with a fundraising concert for Senator Barack Obama's presidential campaign. Judah Adashi, John Dierker, Michael Formanek, Courtney Orlando, Kenneth Osowski, Svet Stoyanov and Jeffrey Weisner perform works by John Adams, David Anderson, Arvo Pärt, Will Redman and Frederic Rzewski. The event will also include voter registration and information for prospective volunteers. The concert begins at 1:00 pm. This is a non-subscription event: tickets are $25/$15 students; all proceeds go to the Obama campaign.
